From Veronica in Oregon
I use this product on my horse, mule & donkey. They all seem to like me to put it on their cuts & scrapes. It's weird they smell the wound salve, get very relaxed, & then stand completely still while I apply it to all the insect irritations & other minor abrasions on any area of their body. Even just one application will improve the condition. Thanks for making this product available on-line.

From Kevyn of Kalispell, MT: My 3 year old Morgan gelding received a kick to the point of his hip July 1997. In April 1998 there was extreme swelling and lameness, the vet opened and cleaned the area and inserted a drain tube. The wound oozed biood and remained swollen with a quarter sized red proud flesh lump developing. July 1st, 1998 I began using your Emu Horse salve on the proud flesh part and pure oil on the swelling. Within 48 hours there was a decrease in swelling and appearance of healthy tissue in proud flesh area. By day 4 there was less swelling and a decrease of proud flesh, by day 11 both proud flesh and swelling had over 50% reduction, by day 14 , 75% reduction, by day 18 the smallest bit of swelling was noticable and the proud flesh was GONE and growing Hair! |

From Twila B. in Wyoming: I have been doctoring my horse with your Wound Spray and Wound Salve. He is a BLACK Thoroughbred. I can’t believe it but he is not only healing but his hair is growing back in BLACK. I thought he would be scarred for life. Thank you so much! |

From Susan in Washington: Last summer while visiting family in the Eureka Montana area I purchased some of your Laid In Montana Wound Salve. I didn’t have much need for it until recently. My thoroughbred mare had developed sores from having a tendon injury bandage left on too long while we were out of town. She had a swollen leg and open sores when I started treating her. It has been 10 days and her progress has been deemed miraculous by our vet! Here in Western Washington, our horses can get a fungal infection that old timers call mud fever. Mud fever is caused by standing in rainy (muddy) pastures. My mare had a small spot that I treated with the wound salve and overnight it was gone! Other borders at this stable are still treating their horses with conventional methods and their horses fetlock area’s are much worse. They are all interested in ordering the wound salve now… Thank you for a great product that has helped my horse a great deal! |
